HBCU Conventions...?

I recently heard about the HBCU Convention being held in New Orleans by Phi Mu Alph and Sigma Alpha Iota...do you guys think that such a convention would be beneficial to the 191946 family...why or why not?

I don't know good or bad. My questions would be...

1) What are the goals of the convention?
2) How is it planned?
3) Who runs it?

I'm thinking logistics...not why or why not. I'm not saying it can't be done, just curious.
