Subject: George and the good fight
Dear friends, sorry about my recent disappearence
My Bone marrow transplant was schedualed for the 26th of February but the biopsy i did on the revealed that i was not in remission so now i have to do another round of chemo into order to put in remission and be able to move for the transplant. I would like to thank the brothers who are tryin get a hld of me. But when i am in the hospital for treatment i do not have my computer and do not answer my cell but do not worry i'm still here and kicking!!!
I will email everybody about the situation assuming that my leukimia goes back in remission the transplant should occure around the first fifteen days of April.
Thats all for now
Sincerely and brotherly

Chapter Eternal...
Brothers, sad news today.
For those of you who have not already heard our Brother George
Giannakopoulos has passed on.
While details are slowly being circulated, all I know for sure is he
has succumbed to his illness from complications from the transplant
procedure. It sounds as though his family was with him.
Please keep Brother Giannakopoulous and his family in your thoughts
and I am sure updates will appear shortly. It seems as though some of
the Madison Brothers may try to put together a memorial soon.
I do not have much more to add other than this was certainly a shock
and we should do all we can to comfort George's family and eachother
and remember what good George was able to contribute to us all.
