Delta Gamma's Omega chapter is at the University of Wisconson-Madison.

I don't know if we have a chapter for deceased members.

We use Chapter Eternal to refer to deceased brothers.

And Sigma Nu doesn't use Omega in chapter designations.

Neither does APhiA.....Omega is used only once, just for Omega Chapter.

Alpha Sigma Phi reserves Omega as the chapter designation for deceased brethren. When listing them, the chapter and year initiated is first and then the year the member entered Omega follows. For example: Louis Manigault (our principal founder) - Alpha 1845/Omega 1899.

Likewise, no Greek letter combination ending in Omega is used as well to name chapters.

My chapter was the 24th installed in Alpha Sigma Phi, however since Omega is not used we're the first double-letter chapter (Alpha Alpha).

Our Omega chapter was at Louisiana State University, but it closed back in 1985.

Our Alumnae Initiates are members of the Omega Alpha chapter, so I don't think ADPi has a chapter designation for deceased sisters...I believe they're still considered members of their collegiate chapter.

edited to correctly identify our AI chapter

At our biannual convention, a special ceremony is held to commemorate sisters we have lost since the last biennium. They are recognized by their chapter of initiation.

Thanks for posting that, adpiucf! I haven't been to convention before, so obviously I knew nothing about our honoring of sisters that we've lost since the previous biennium!

*I'm hoping to rectify not being at a convention next year in Phoenix, however!
