Woah! Major congrats to you!

I've been on WW for 5 weeks now, and I've lost 7 lbs. My points went from 28 to 27 last week and I'm managing that. The hardest thing for me is when I have major sugar cravings and a half cup of sorbet just isn't enough.

I've been on WW for 8 weeks. Now down 10 pounds! Still a long way to go. Next personal goal-- 15 pounds.

So I'm not on weight watchers, but I didn't know if there is just a plain losing weight thread. I've been using a website to count calories and exercise etc. I started February 20th and am down 8 pounds!

Forgive me if this has been discussed before. Is anyone doing WW online? I need to get back with it, but finding time for going to a meeting is a challenge. Pros and cons??

I'm doing it online! I have the app on my phone, so I can always track my points, look up recipes, calculate points, etc. I personally don't like the meetings...and doing it online has been really successful for me! I've lost 45 pounds so far!

Me too! I love that I can do everything right through the website or my app--I can track everything easily and also calculate points. I also like that I get the flexibility to change my preferences at anytime (i.e I tried swapping out activity points on both a daily and weekly basis.

I've been on it for 10 weeks and as of my last week in I was down 12 lbs. Really great for me considering I didn't have a lot to lose (down to 127lb from 139lb). I'm on maintain now, and it's really helped me learn portion control and healthier snacking. I admit that I haven't tracked in 2 weeks due to craziness at work, but I'm still maintaining really well.

Good luck! There's a few more people who have gone through the program (although not online) here, so you have lots of resources here!

I've done it both ways- meetings and online. There are +/- for each choice. However, I do enjoy tracking on my computer and on my iphone. The meetings are helpful for social support (and extrinsic motivation)!
Keep us posted - online social support is great too!

Bumping

Bumping because I just joined WW today. This is my first time. I'm doing the online program because I can't fit the meetings into my schedule, but I think that I would have benefited from the group affirmations! I'm hoping that I can keep myself honest and on track. I have lost this weight before, but after I lose it, it always seems to creep back on. I also feel that I eat pretty unhealthfully, so I need to make some lasting dietary changes.

Right now, I'm a little overwhelmed and not quite sure how to get started, so if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to post them.

I've done WW before, but I'm now following the Eat Clean plan - no sugar, and nothing processed.

I recently picked up the book Made to Crave. It's a bibical spin on weight loss. Have any of you read it before? If so, what did you think? If not....I totally recommend it.

Congratulations! It is very inspiring to hear about others' success. I sometimes get frustrated because a pound or two doesn't sound like much over the course of the week (who doesn't want instant success?), but those pounds really add up over weeks and months.

My first weigh-in is tomorrow. I've done a good job sticking to the plan and I can tell that my clothes are already a little looser, so I'm looking forward to it.

I've lost 25 lbs. since March 1, when I started up again. I'm pleased with that, plus the fact my clothes are literally falling off of me, even ones that I couldn't wear on March 1. I still have a lot to go... (yeah I'd gotten fat, stupid thyroid!) but it's nice seeing results. The program is easy, and I work out 4-5 times a week, so I know that helps too. With my specific thyroid issue it's still difficult to lose weight, even though I'm now in the healthy range.
