Well, I had a last minute change of Thanksgiving plans. My family was going to be coming down here, and meeting Mr. BetaRose's family for the first time, but they've changesd their mind and aren't coming. So it will be just me and his family having a quiet dinner together.

I'm going on what i like to call a tour of the east coast.
Tonight i go to the Cape for thanksgiving at my parents house. Friday morning we are going to NYC to see cousins and go shopping. Friday night we head to Jersey where we have a bat mitzvah to go to on Saturday. Then home on Sunday. it's going to be a busy weekend!

Son got in from Norman last night. Great to see him. Tomorrow, daughter #1, husband and stepdaughter, plus daughter #2 and grand daughter will be over for dinner.
Mrs. DeltAlum's and my family are 1200 miles away, so it's great that our kids are still here in Denver.

Well i think things may work out fot Thanksgiving afterall with my family here........despite me still having to work on business plans due as soon as i come back from break...............due to my recent revelations......i've decided to actively seek a date to my semi-formal banquet (where i was previously going to go alone) with this guy I know that works at the hospital. He's single now too as of two weeks ago and is super cute. he also seems quite mature, which would be a welcome change for once I hope to get to know him better

Thanksgiving family football game
The guys in my family have ALWAYS had a family football game. After dinner and a few hours of football to settle their food (we eat at 11:00am), they would head out into the pasture and play football in the chilly air and get chased by the occassional cow. It was the best...UNTIL my cousin married a "city" guy who kept stepping in cow patties and getting hurt. The whole tradition has been called off to spare his feelings.
Good grief. I am from a farm family. You have to at least be a little tough....

I'm really at my uncle/godfather and his wife right now - they just moved to the same town that my parents and my grandpa live in, and they aren't spending Thanksgiving with us. We've never had a holiday with the whole family together that my cousins are old enough to remember and my grandpa is 80 so I don't know why they think that they can keep putting it off.

Haha! We had a 13 lb for 5 people, one of whom (me) dislikes the turkey!
See you at Gurnee tomorrow! I'll be the one with two women who look like me, a weird lady who's friends with my aunt, and her daughters, one of whom I like, one of whom can blow a goat.
