Question info emergency

i am trying to organize a brand new sorority but i dont really know where to start. is there anyone out there that can help me???

The first thing I would recommend doing is checking with the school's administration as far as to the requirments of starting and having a recognized sorority on campus.

After that, A good place to start is to define within the group what you want out of the sorority, and what ideals you are wanting to build with the sorority and what goals you want to accomplish.

A few things to consider is the type of sorority you want and how it can meet the needs of the sisters. Things to consider is local vs national, will you be considered a social, professional, service or special intrest sorority.

I'd also highly recommend doing research as to what other greek organizations are already established. A variety of different sororities exist. One place that has a wealth of information on Local Sororities (defined by them as any sorority (single or multi-chapter) which is not affliated with a National governing body such as IFC, NPC, NPHC) on Greekpages
