You hit it right on the nose. What many people fail to realize is that the organization does not make you, (well you can be made, but that's another story), rather it is the members of the organization that make the org. what it is.

I have seen many a brother think, "ok now that I am a X Y or Z, all the girls are going to want to step to me." Wrong. I have seen many a corny brother turned down, and embarrased.

When approaching a BGLO, think about what you can bring to that org. If you aren't bringing s%^&, then they probably won't accept you, and kissing azz really never gets you anywhere. I actually have very little respect for someone who kisses azz, and I wouldn't want to call them brother. Now I am not saying that anyone on here is an azz kisser, so no hate male please.

You are so right. I am not greek but there was a man that had heard me speak highly about a fraternity and it's sorors and he became a member of that fraternity. NOT SAYING that that is the reason he seeked the fraternity, it must have been somewhere in or close to his heart. BUT........now he's pushing up even harder now that he is part of the fraternity !
