Our theme this year is Mardi Gras. Two of our sisters made shirts for everyone. They're white on the front they say "Rush KLY Fall 2003" in bluish purple writing with stars and sparkles all over it and on the back it says "I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints...the SINNERS are much more fun!"

I waited until after the start of rush to post this....Ours says on the front 'Some girls go to college to find there husbands' with a pic of a bride and groom and one the back 'Others go to find there bridesmaids' with a pic of a bride and her bridesmaids. Under that it was Sigma Delta Tau Recruitment (sp?).
Some of the othes around school:
Maybe she born with it (on the front) Maybe it's KFC .
The superman logo with AS in it and the back Soar into our sisterhood.
I forgot the exact wording of the other local ( GBD but the front said rush 2003 and it was simalir to the NY Liberty's logo but with there mascot (Calvin).
The other two NPC's havne't worn there shirts yet

Since I am an alum I don't have a current one but I do have my fave!
On the front it says "Sigma Kappa Truman State Univeristy"
On the back is says "If you only had two wishes... What would the other one be?" in a circle with Sigma Kappa in the middle.
I loved that shirt so much

The Bid Day shirts for my sorority were awesome this year.
On the front it said:
Alpha Gam (for New Members and Greek Letters for Members)
Bid Day 2003
Arkansas State University
On the Back it said:
What does Sorority Life mean when you're not wearing these letters (Under that it had the Greek letters Alpha Gamma Delta in big bold letters).....

We just got bid day shirts for this semester...On the front it has our APHI letter and on the back it says:
"It's not the only sorority....Its the only sorority that matters"
(then it has our letters real big)
I LOVE IT!!

Last fall our shirts were black with the Harley Davidson symbol and it said Life is Short, So Let's Make it a Wild Ride. And Michigan State University Sigma Delta Tau Bid 2002 was inside the symbol.
That probably sounds really confusing, sorry, but they are so adorable.
Then last Spring, the shirts were red with a highway sign with SDT *normal letters for the new members and greek letters for the actives* and underneath it said The perfect road to perfect sisterhood

Ours said "anyone can wear letters, but only Zetas can wear a crown"...the person in charge of the slogan actually got that from GC!

I was a gepper at Texas, and we did not bother with shit like that . I suppose our rush is much different, b/c at UT we really don't have a formal rush for fraternities. Our rush for the fall pretty much begins at Christmas Formals and continues through the summer, which is a f'n drag entertaining rushees who think they're your friend. Which is awesome to see the confusion in their eyes once pledgeship starts and they wonder what went wrong. By the way, does your chapter participate in that balanced man bs. Also, how strong of a chapter are you at AK.
Also, congrats on the win last weekend, yall kicked our ass.

The Bid Day shirts this year just had letters and Bid Day 2003 on the front and on the back it had a painting of a little girl with heart shaped sunglasses and a red dress on with letters on the front of her dress. Above the painting it said "Ain't you sumthin!" and below it said Chi Omega Bid Day 2003. . .
But I loved our Bid Day banner on the front of our house. It had a big chili pepper (our local mascot) and it said "We have a better time than most can dream. . ." and below the pepper it said "Chi Omega, the best of what's around"

Our recruitment shirts were black. In hot pink script they said:
Front:
Maybe she's Born With It...
Back:
Maybe Its Delta G
Formal Recruitment
Fall 2003
University of Georgia.
Our Bid Day shirts were BRIGHT yellow(really, you can't miss us on campus....even at a school as big as UGA) and on the front had the DG letters in red with a pair of red shoes and it said Bid day, August 19,2003.
The back had a picture of dorthy with the wand behind her and it said "There's no place like home...Delta Gamma Bid Day Fall 2003"
