Sean 'Puffy' Combs is embroiled in a host of new criminal investigations, involving two murders, gun-running and tax evasion, it has been alleged.
According to reports in New York City's 'Talk' magazine, Puff Daddy has been linked by police to the murder of Biggie Smalls in 1997, although cops have been unwilling to confirm details of any investigation.
However, there are also allegations that the rap mogul, only recently aquitted in his guns-and-bribery trial, may have been involved in the slaying of a Death Row Records employee in 1995.
According to 'Talk', Puffy's bodyguard and co-defendant in the trial, Anthony 'Wolf' Jones, has been identified as the murderer, with Combs is said to have been present at the killing.
Puffy's lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, however, has categorically denied the allegations, telling the New York Daily News that they are "entirely baseless and without any merit."
The magazine also claims that Puffy is being investigated by police in Las Vegas for gun possession in two separate cases, alleging he and security chief Paul Offord ran a nationwide network supplying guns.
The final allegation is decidedly small-fry in comparison, indicating that the embattled Combs is being investigated by US tax inspectors over allegations that he has failed to declare all his income.

It's unsupported articles like these that get people murdered. The media is constantly dropping little tidbits of info without a thorough investigation. All it takes is one fool to misundestand this article and believe that Diddy was in on these murders....

i would like to think that your Greek association or affiliation would matter [ex: membership in the org]. I just think the semantics of this blurb leaves something to be desired.

It has been suggested that NPHC orgs should NOT support these shoes. They were done without consulting the orgs and purposefully do not carry symbols or anything else to get around the orgs licensing agreements. I would caution Greeks from buying them and checking with your Nat'l HQ as to whether or not they have a position on them. For more info on this aspect see this thread http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...threadid=40548

So how are these shoes different from any other para that's out there without our symbols, etc.? (I'm only playing devil's advocate. )
Just because an item has our colors and the like (directed specifically to an org) doesn't mean one has to run out and buy it.

And you know, it's just kind of sad that we have to congratulate VC for his choice. But that's a bit of social commentary that may be taken the wrong way.

Her name is...
Ione, as in Ione Skye, not Ion. From reading the article, I don't get the sense that Ione and Ellen's family are the type to make up names.
