Ummmmm...I see that we're gonna have a problem here because I've been Mrs. Iverson since his college days!
But seriously, I am a Lakers fan as well as a 76ers fan, but since I live in California (Bay Area), I'm cheering a bit harder for the Lakers.
Yesterday's game showed them (Lakers) that letting the media hype up their already huge egos is what allowed my man to come back and retaliate (sp?) against the Lakers. I have a bet running on the series and I hope that the 76ers win, or else I owe a friend dinner
GO ALLEN! http://members.nbci.com/aniv3/Gallery/covers/cover9.jpg

But, isn't it funny how he can be accused/convicted, participating in that sexcapade or whatever and gets his job back. Isn't that something.

AKA2D...I was just thinking about this yesterday as he was standing courtside at the intro of Game 1. I thought about how it seems as they had a strategy all along to bring him back by keeping him on the DL for a bit and then bringing him back to the fore.
I wondered if people are really as forgetful as their strategic minds think.

I am a DIE HARD KNICKS FAN but I am happy to see that the 76ers won.
Was that Iverson's wife standing near him (w/the red hair) when they beat the Bucks?
I too, find the Marv Albert situation quite interesting. He has been commentating Knicks games for a while, but it is funny how that (his actions) was basically swept under the carpet. You know, when it comes to something that we do, they never let us forget it.

not only that, but HECK, our CAREERS are basically RUINED! No way of trying to "come back" from anything!
That makes me upset!

I was wondering the same thing . True the Lakers were rusty, BUT they DID have a 10 lay off (I've been using this reason ALL DAY LONG at work). It's ok though it's ON Friday night!!!!!

I thought they were already married! I recall during his acceptance speech for MVP
he referred to her as his wife.

that doesn't mean anything.
That's just like SOME baby mommas refer to the daddy's mother as their mother-n-law. Knowing good and doggone well they ain't signed no doggone marriage license nor have they said, "I do".
