wow

I just stumbled upon your thread tonight and read thru the whole thing...everything you have said as well as all the support everyone responding to you has given, has made me want to go national all the more once i transfer. I totally love your idea to use the zodica signs as a code until your done with the entire rush process, it is def. something i will have to remember for when I rush. Good luck.

OMG! Holy cow! I shrieked when I read that you got to go back to all seven! Congratulations to you! That shows that you made a GREAT first impression. Can't wait to hear more tonight. Good luck.

I still can't get over how lucky I am. I have spent the whole day with a perma-grin! Each hour that passes makes me want to be a part of a sorority even more. 3 more parties tonight, starting at 6...then ranking. I'm am getting even more nervous because I'm starting to develop attactments to certain groups and will definately be hurt if it doesn't work out. But that won't stop me from trying!

Thanks EVERYONE for being here for me. You really have been such a great inspiration and definately got me pysched about the whole process.

I LOVE YA GCERS!!!

Well I have a few mintues to spare before I'm off. Tonight I have this cute peach sundress. Its a two layer deal that has a sheer and sparkly outer part that has little flower designs on it. The under layer is shorter so the sheer part goes to my knees! I accually bought it for a wedding that got cancelled, now it has some use. Its too nice for everyday wear, but causal for church or other speical events. Now I finally have something to wear it too!

secound rounds and ranking

ACK IM SO DUMB...Did you all see the my OPPS thread?

I am so exhaused...I need to go to bed as soon as I finish this post!

The last three parties of second rounds *sniff*

Capricorn: I was only rushed by two girls in this house. We decorated bags to put snacks/food in for a homeless shelter. The conversations are nice, but the house is on the low key side. The girls talk softly and move at a slower pace than I do. I like them, but in all I would feel restrained here. I'm quiet around quiet people, but I'm pretty talkative normaly so I would be hard for me to feel comfortable. Plus, I need to hear the babble of conversation or else I get nervous, espeically when meeting new people. Me and my big mouth

Taurus: Still love it here! Had 4 girls rush me and all were so chatty and cute! However, the girl who gave me the house tour was a little on the quiet side...Yet again, my need for talking got me uncomfortable because we didn't spend every second talking. She was nice, but like I said, I get paranoid when people don't talk as much as I do. But I would love love love and need need need to pref this house. I also found out their philanthropy involves camping for girls!!! Being a counselor for the past few summers definately is a bonus in my opinion.

Scorpio: Only talked to two girls here, too. We decorated pots that will hold flowers for children the hospital. The first girl was nice and friendly and the second girl was nice, too. But totally in love with herself. I mean I love it when rushers tell me something about themselves, but she went on and on about how she did this or that. At least she was humorous while telling me her stories or else I would have been out of it. Same vibe from this place... looks great sisterhood, but I don't get any sense on what its like as a whole or if I would fit in.

We went to rank immediately after and have to include all 11...of course I put the four that didn't invite me at the bottom so here is how the seven fall.

1.Aries
2.Taurus
3.Pisces
4.Aquarius
5.Gemini
6.Capricorn
7.Scorpio

Its going to be a long 2 days. This waiting is getting harder and harder. Plus I have formed such attatchments to some of the houses that it will be hard to get over them.

Anyway...I'll update as soon as I know more! Hard to believe its almost done.

I'm so thrilled I'm typing this with wet nails.

Congrats! Sounds like you had a great night. I've been waiting for your post. I'm sorry you have to wait so long. It sucks.

I had a question, with which I PMed you. I'm heartened to see that a junior can make it as successfully as you have through Madison's rush, which (though not Southern) can be competitive.

Hang in there! We're counting down the hours with you.
