Please read....looking for pike opinion

I'm strongly strongly considering rushing pike this next fall (2003). I'm going to be a junior then and was just concerned that I might be older than most of the other pledges.....maybe not, but just seeing if anyone else has an opinion about it or went through the same thing. Thanks guys

We have a guy who rushed when he was 23. As long as you're an undergrad it's never too late to rush.

pike rush

This year we had a 26 year old pledge, a 25 year old, and a 22 year old. They all now say it was one of the best decisions they have ever made in their lives. Good luck man.

Rush Pike

I know you posted your query some time before this post, but I would still like to reply. I rushed and pledged at a slightly older time than the rest of my pledge brothers. It gave me a clearer and more controlled perspective on the situation. I think it was better for me and a considerable number of my brothers agree that it is better for some people.
PLEDGE PIKE and never look back. You will not regret it at any age.

On some big campuses, the big sororities only pledge freshmen. That's generally not true for fraternities. Maybe 25% of our pledges over a year will be juniors, usually new students who have transfered from one of the state's community colleges. I think - and see what the other Pikes ay on this board - that we are looking for potential in freshmen, but we're looking for juniors to provide a more finished product. You need to be prepared to provide some leadership right away.
