Before I became Coord. of Greek Life at SIUE, I interviewed for the Greek Adviser's position at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. When I came on campus for my interview, I was surprised to find that there was a cemetary directly across the street from the residence halls. For some reason I kept thinking about "Night of the Living Dead".

Haha - I just posted about that too. It's scary!
The only other scary facts we've really heard about Platteville is that our house is allegedly haunted by MJ, and the Phi Sigma (formerly PSE/PSK) house is haunted by a different girl.
MJ is supposed to be an Atheneaum (our local name) who got trapped in our attic over spring break one year and died. Most of us don't buy this, because really, she would be stinking up a storm by now.

Some sisters do think she's real though, and whenever the lights flicker or the house creaks, they think it's her. She supposedly haunted the Gamma room (my old room) and I never had anything weird happen, other than half the electrical outlets not working.
The Phi Sig house is supposedly haunted by a girl who was in Delta Gamma Phi (or Pi?) who killed herself by jumping off their roof or some nonsense like that.
