WHY MUST WE DO THIS???

Jenn obviously doesn't want to name the group yet. Let it go. If you think you know the group, keep it to yourself. I don't understand why, in every AI or rush thread, someone feels the need to play detective.

Jenn will tell us when she is ready.

(FWIW, you can get cake-pull charms for every group. It is no shock that the bride had her org's symbol. Therefore, I really think that you can't narrow it down from this "clue.")

Kappa (KKG) doesn't do AI...so if that helps you narrow it down any....

I just spent two hours surfing the net for charms for the charm bracelet I'm getting my daughter for Christmas and there are charms with EVERYTHING. In fact, I wanted a squirrel charm for me but two sites were sold out of them. Must be a lot of AGDs buying squirrel charms!

Just to add... Jenn (and many other PNAMs) might not be so gung-ho about saying names of groups because, as has been discussed before, it's not exactly PC to pursue two groups for AI. So it might not have anything to do with being "ready" or not, and more like "unable at this time"

I dont see anything wrong with people making guesses... it's all in good fun...

You really got clues from my story about the cake pull?? Wow-I didn't know I had left any! Are cake pulls specific to certain sororities??

Ok here's an update: Friday night I'm going out for dinner and drinks with the AC president and some other members of the alum group! It's not an official event-I was emailing with the prez and suggested it and she said she would invite some other members as well!! I am so excited for Friday and to meet more of the members!! But now, what to wear!!

Good thing I'm going to get my hair done tomorrow!!

Well, I just got back from dinner-and it turned out to just be me, the AC pres, and one other girl whom I had never met before( which was nice to meet someone new). The 3 of us had dinner and cocktails, and it was alot of fun! I laughed alot and felt really comfortable. The AC pres talked to me about the December event which I will actually make it to-which is making Xmas ornaments, which should be fun. Anyhoo, I wish more girls had come tonight, but I had fun anyways, and will definately try to keep getting together with the AC pres and any other girls.

So thats it so far!!

That sounds like a really awesome time! The most important thing is that you had fun and felt comfortable doing it--I guess that's when you know that something is right for you! Making new connections is great!! I'm sure that there will be a better turn out at the Christmas party. Have a good weekend

Quick update- Ihave an event with my group this Sunday-we're going to go make Xmas decorations at a place where you can decorate your own art! I think more people will be at this one, and I'm really excited to go! So, I'll let you guys know how that goes on Sunday!!
