All I know for sure is that it is "in January." I'm not sure exactly when. SMU recruitment starts next week, so I'm sorta thinking that it may be soon if I am to be initiated with the spring class. I was invited to their "skit preview" on Sunday night!! I am going to have to be late due to a choir program I am in, but I'm going!
I thought I was nervous before, but it's starting to really hit me now. Keep your fingers crossed, folks!

I would think that it would be at least mid-month before they would get together where the group could discuss/vote.

Well, phooey!!
now, now, calm down, it's not that bad!! I did not get to go to the skit preview after all. My choir program ran long and it would have been almost over by the time I got to Dallas. But I'm not too worried about the overall situation. There is an event later on this month, and I need to check to see if I can go since it is on a week-night.
Now, if we go into February and I still have no news, then I will be worried...

tinydancer, maybe a concerted try would be at this point in time!
After a while, they may think that you are not really that interested? 
Some may understand, but others may not!
Just a subtle hint.
Once you are accepted and initiated, then the reason are more understood!
Just my little thought.
