... this is a story of the love i felt from 2 of the most beautiful and caring human beings on the face of this earth ( i may be over doing it a little but after u read this u will think the same way)...I went to Daytona during Black Beach college reunion with a good friend of mine and we were supposed to hook up with someone else with a hotel room...that didnt work out i couldnt get a hold of the person and we had to sleep in my car that friday night
...the next morning we started looking for hotel rooms....we came to this one place and started to rent the room when we found out that my credit card was MAXED...so we sat in the lobby looking pitiful thinking of a way to get more money or head home...when 2 angels came through the door...who were they?...u guessed it 2 AKA's...i was so stunned that they had just walked in the door that i forgot my dilemna for a few minutes...my friend and i mustered our courage and told them our situation and asked if we could share a room with them...to our surprise they said of course with big smiles on their face and after we got the room situated and money paid they even suggested that we all hang together for the entire weekend...girls i had to pinch myself to make sure i was really awake and wasnt in this beautiful dream....so we spent the whole day on the beach taking pictures with them and lovely men men and more men with no shirts on and muscles for days ( will post momentarily)...i found one thing disturbing though which is probably not my concern anyway but alot of men were doing the AKA call everytime they saw them...and i asked them if it disturbed them and they said no and that they were ignorant....while on ther beach we met up with many other AKA's who were also friendly and gave all of us hugs even after i stated that i wasnt an AKA...they just shrugged their shoulders and embraced us too...ok now im in awe and in a daze and also shocked that all thid took place in one day... anyway the day went well until that Saturday night when i found out that my car had been towed...to make a long story short one of the AKA's gave me over 100 dollars to get it out the next day and the other drove me to the place to pick up my car...after we said our goodbyes we all exchanged numbers and addys and promised to saty in touch....and what they said after that made me want to cry...they called us their little sisters...all this happened with in a period of 2 DAYS....all i want to say is THANK YOU to Inger Brown and Keisha Cooper who represented your organization with their hearts and souls...u touched mine
one love
