Hey everyone! This is my very first post I just joined today!!! I'm am sooo excited to hear about all the other chapters and talk to alums!!! Well anyway, here is some info about me!
Name: Jeri
Chapter: Beta Omicron @ Illinois State University
Pledge Class of Fall 2003; Philanthropy Coordinator
Why I joined AGD: The reputation on campus for AGD is really respectable. When I asked around about houses before I began recruitment, no one could say one bad thing about the AGDs. While I went through recruitment I saw why. These girls were just so down to earth and genuinely nice, I could tell that it wasn't fake. I just knew that this was the house that I wanted to be a part of!
Fav. memory: The night of bid day a bunch of the older girls took our pledge class out to restuarant that was an hour away that has the best chicken you could ever have!!! It was just such a great way to start out a lifetime of fun that I will have with these girls!

2) The Delta Omicron Chapter at University Nevada at Las Vegas
3) Collegian
4) My favorite memory in AGD is every moment I spend with my sisters. From Serenades, to Pre-I, to Initiation, to Wednesday nights in the Dining Commons, to intramurals, to parties, to meetings, and everything in between. I love and respect everything my sisters do and and am so honored to be and Alpha Gam.

Hello! I've posted before but I haven't introduced myself. My name is Sara, I am a collegian. I love AGD. Its amazing. The people are amazing, the memories, and the good times and the bad. I've only been home from school for less than a week and I already miss it. I can't wait for the fall. I joined AGD because I felt accepted from the moment I walked in the door. I loved the spirit, I loved how all the girls were so different but had the common bond of sisterhood all the same. I love how my sisters support me and will do just about anything for me. My favorite memories of AGD are probably the times when I'm just hanging out with the girls and talking or what not. The favorite times have far outweighted the bad times (which are very few). I can't wait for the times to come!
Have an awesome day!
Sara

Alpha Gamma Delta Roll Call
Good Morning! I just found out about this site (waves to Marissa). Can't believe I'm such an Internet geek and didn't know... Anyway, my name is Julie and I'm an alumna of the Zeta Nu Chapter at Alma College, Michigan. I'm also the Chapter Advisor - 8 years and counting. I recently moved to Maryland, so I'm going to have to turn over my girls and move on to other projects for the Fraternity.
Glad to be here!

Welcome Julie! Just as an aside, these women should know that Julie is the one who completely set up our discounted rates and organized the Alpha Gam train to Chicago for all of us Michiganders! She's a great lady!

Hi everyone! I just found this website today and am very excited to join a board that my sisters belong to. So to begin...
Name: Holley
Chapter: Theta Delta (North Georgia College and State University)
Pledge Class: Spring 2003
Why I joined AGD: NGCSU holds recruitment during the spring semester. I knew I wanted to join a sorority but I didn't really spend a lot of time going to the getting to know you events the greek held. I was being "dirty rushed" by my CA who was part of another organization. I went into recruiment weekend with a completely open mind. After the first night I was leaning towards an organization other then AGD but something about Alpha Gam really hit me. The second night, theme night, I knew where I was going. I was going to be an Alpha Gam. I met the girl who became my big and she just changed my life. I was no longer torn. When I went to my first pref part on Sunday night (the other organization) I was the only girl who was not crying. The girl who was talking to me asked if I knew where I wanted to go and I said yes and I am going there next. My friend Emily who I had known since the beginning of the year preffed me. She wrote me a letter and together we just bawled our eyes out. When I ran down the drill field the next day into the arms of girls who would become my sisters it was just the greatest feeling.
Favorite AGD memory: Recruitment 2004. As exhausting as this weekend was it was SO MUCH FUN. It made me SO proud to wear my letters and see the faces of all of the women coming into our room and learning what Alpha Gam was all about.

WELCOME HOLLEY!
I met another TD today at the pool!!! I was soaking up some HOT sun and this girl walks by wearing AGD flipflops! We talked about how well your chapter did during Rec. last Jan.
She works at the pool so hopefully I will see more of her. She said there is another AGD from here.
I won't post her name here in case she is a Rho Chi or whatever y'all call them
Cute girl!!

roll call!
1) Nicole
2) Gannon University, Zeta Gamma Chapter
3) Collegian
4) I joined AGD because I had made friends with quite a few of the sisters over time and decided that I wanted to know firsthand what the stuff they talked about sisterhood was like. I didn't go to any other houses for recruitment, partly because I was lazy and partly because after going to the AGD house I knew that was where I wanted to be!
My favorite memory is something special between me and a few of my sisters, so I'm not going to post it, but the key phrase is "Thursday night."

Hi ladies... I just joined this a few minutes ago, so I don't really know what's going on. But anyway...
1) My name is Dana
2) Beta Xi Chapter, Purdue University
3) Collegian
4) I went through formal recruitment and it wasn't such a good experience... there were two houses on the second-to-last day that I really liked, and I didn't get asked back to either of them on the last day. So I dropped recruitment and went back to my dorm and called my mom crying. So then I tried informal, and found out that AGD was doing COB... they were one of the two houses. I didn't think they would take me, because I figured that since I didn't get a bid in formal recruitment, why would I in informal?!?! But I went anyway... and they even brought me my bid first (out of all the girls they were giving bids to) because I am on the crew (rowing) team, and they knew I had early practice and didn't want to come late and wake me up!!!!!!!!! I thought that was so amazing!
My favorite memories are just sitting in my room with my roommate and sisters (best friends) watching movies and eating pizza and dancing and laughing... and tailgating before football games... and sneaking into the kitchen with my roommate at 4am for some pork chops... there are so many I could go on and on.

1) Katie
2) Gamma Phi, Georgia Institute of Technology
3) Collegian
4) I joined AGD because of the amazing women in my chapter - while I enjoyed spending time at other houses during Recruitment, I felt most at home at AGD. I had a connection to home through one of the sisters (I'm out of state) - I had gone to the same high school as her and graduated with her younger sister, and this girls of Alpha Gam were just so welcoming. My favorite memory is of IRD - I was sick as a dog, had to go but wasn't looking too forward to it, but the second I got there and was with my sisters, I felt 10x better. Then I recieved an award, which surprised me a lot, and I felt so loved by all the women in the room.
