Alright, I guess it's my turn. Perfect first post on GC, eh?
1) Ashley
2) Epsilon Phi @ Texas Woman's University
3) Collegiate
4) At TWU, there are only 3 NPC sororities on campus. Everyone has their favorite: Alpha Gamma Delta. Everyone wanted to be an Alpha Gam, yet I had no idea why. Going into recruitment, I wanted to join XYZ, but after the first day of recruitment I knew that Alpha Gamma Delta was where I belonged. I caught the fever!
To this day, my favorite Alpha Gam memory would probably have to be receiving a bid from AGD. I cried because I was so happy (and so nervous because I went suicide)! Also, running to the giant letters on the lawn and meeting all my new sisters is up there, too!

Name: Nancy
Chapter: Gamma Alpha GOOOO DAWGS...
Although, I have to paraphrase a Michelle Morgan quote: Once you graduate, you are now a part of the Fraternity and don't really have your 'own' chapter.
Hometown: I now am from Casselberry, FL, which is the Orlando area
Status: Alumna
What I do now: I'm on VST as an Area Coordinator, after having been Province Director, local Permanent Sec'y, JC Chmn, APh rep, APh officer (held every one, Pres 95-96!), APh Presidents' Council, APh Scholarship Chmn, Sunshine State Days Treas and registration chmn
Best Alpha Gam memory: Ooh, I've been at this WAY too long to choose just one, but a very special one was when (then) IVP-E gave me my APh pin. Of course, there were sisters at my wedding who made it so very beautiful, roses when each child was born...you get the idea...Alpha Gam is a part of my daily life!

Greetings!
1. Lee
2. Gamma Alpha - UGA
3. Alumna!
4. Favorite memory - tons The most special, though, was watching a chapter I was working with as their province director double in size. Actually saw it happen during Initiation - it was really special.
Those of you who were at VLC, Kiss your brain!

1) Kimberly
2) Mercer University, Gamma Iota!
3) Collegian
4) My "Why you joined Alpha Gam" is pretty typical, so I'll post my favorite memory!
During fireside chat, I wrote poems for the sisters I wanted to talk to instead of the regular things. I thought they were clever, but I ended up laughing so hard I couldn't read the poem without laughing uncontrollably. I had the whole chapter rolling, and the sisters wanted to keep them as souvenirs. One sister carries hers in her wallet, and it cracks me up. I felt really loved, not to mention that it reminded me of how great our sisterhood is!

1. Kim
2. Sonoma State University - Delta Rho
3. Alumna - Advisor (campus relations) at Delta Iota, Chico State
4. I joined Alpha Gam because it felt like home. There were only 3 NPC groups on campus at the time and I did not click with either of the others. I am now very excited to be an advisor in my home town and love the Delta Iota girls!

Name- Whitney
Chapter- Theta Delta Chapter, North Georgia College & State University
Collegian
I joined AGD because I felt at comfortable with the girls (which was a surprise because I didn't even plan on pledging any organization). We are a very diverse chapter, but at the same time very similar. We each have something different to bring to the circle, but we all have something that interlinks all of us as well. I'm proud of each of my sisters because we all have something to offer.
My favorite AGD memory would probably have to be last year's bid day when we saw the girls running down the hill into our arms. We had put so much time and effort into Recruitment and I personally spent many many hours in the freshman dorms meeting girls and forming bonds with them during Fall semester (we have a January Recruitment). Ahhh...memories. I have to add that candlelightings, sisterhood retreats and staying up late in our pjs talking all night long is among my favorites as well.

Name: Lisa
Initiating Chapter and year: Mu- Brenau (Women's College) Univ., Gainesville, Ga. Winter 1990(Ouch!) I had to take Alumna status early.
University of North Alabama Graduate
Alumnae, Birmingham, Al Junior Circle
Memories: I've forgotten many of them. This is due to the fact that a couple of them I would rather block out and never want to look back on them. I will always remember a day trip I took with my sister-mother though. We took a tour of a winery in north Ga. Too funny!!!!!
My memories are still being made through Junior Circle.

Name: Elise
Chapter: Alpha Mu, Penn State
Alumnae member. Currently hold the office of Panhellenic Rep in the Chesapeake Alumnae Chapter (Baltimore, Maryland).
Message for Erica/ees125: Hey stranger! In response to your question about where to find the name of the alumnae chapter in Milwaukee... AlphaGam.Net! ( www.alphagam.net)
I can answer the question for you though. The local collegiate chapter near Milwaukee is the Beta Epsilon chapter at Carroll College, in Waukesha, WI. The alumnae chapter is called Beta Epsilon Alumnae Chapter. Neither group has a website (yet), that I'm aware of.
Believe it or not, when I left Penn State in 1997, Milwaukee is where I ended up for a year before moving to Baltimore. I visited the Beta Epsilon chapter once and was in contact with someone from the alumnae chapter, but never got involved with either group, mostly because I was lazy!
