Name: Klynda
University/Chapter: University Of Oklahoma, Y (Upsilon)
Collegian/Alumnae: Collegian
Why I joined Alpha Gam: I joined Alpha Gam (at my school it's Alpha Gam, not AGD) because the other houses on my campus where very overtly Christian, and as a skater-punk that's a Jew, I wanted an open minded house, and Alpha Gam was that house...
Favorite memory: Bid day this year (I'm a sophomore, so it's my first rush on the other side) as our new girls were coming over on bid day, my rush crush, who was also a friend from high school and my sister-daughter, came running across the street, almost gettting hit by a car, and was screaming, "Klynda, squirrels and pearls, squirrels and pearls, baby!"

Sandy!
I will be glad to relay the message to Kristen (AKA: Hawaii or more often '5-0') She talks about Delta Sigma often. It's nice to finally get to talk to some of you and learn first hand what Kristen means. She is great and we love her!

I think I met Kristen at the Charlotte Conference last spring! I was going to introduce myself but didn't get a chance.

Lynn!
She was most likely at that conference. She was VP Recruitment last year.
Also, I went to SEPC last year in Atlanta while I was VP Campus Relations. If anyone else went, drop me a line...I would love to chat with you.
Loyally, Nicole.

Hey Nicole!
Thanks for relaying the message! When you get a chance, please let '5-0' [I think that's soooo cute] know that she made it in the UH newspaper! There's a link to an article in my Delta Sigma thread and one of the courtesy photos was one that included her doing the Charlie's Angels thing last year. Hope all is going great at Gamma Beta!
My hope is that I can take a big road trip sometime next year after graduation so I can meet as many of my sisters as I can! If not, I'll settle for 2004!

I'm back!
Hi Everyone! I've been gone for a while. Left Switzerland and moved to Cary, NC. Switched jobs in June and moved to a new place in May. Got engaged in November!! Had the candle lighting I always wished I had during college with the alumni chapter here in Raleigh. It's been a hectic year...

Hello everyone!
My name is Erin Smith and I am an alum of the Theta Upsilon Chapter at Georgetown College in Kentucky.
My favorite memory starts before I even joined AGD. I didn't go through rus as a freshman, but being a legacy from another sororiry on campus (lets use XYZ) I THOUGHT that I knew where I wanted to go. When the time came around my sophomore year I signed up and went through rush only to be dropped by XYZ. It was heart-breaking at the time. Over the summer between my soph and junior year I recieved info about a new sorority that was to be determined. SInce I was a legacy I talked to my sister and told her that I was going to check it out and she was happy for me. I went to all of the meetings but I had to leave for California for a volleyball tournament. When I came back I had a bid waiting for me. I started crying instantly and was so proud to wear my first AGD shirt to classes the next day.
It was such a privelege to be able to start a new tradition at G-Town College. Everything happens for a reason!!

For once I have been quite
I have been reading but held my silence but no more....
I am so proud to have more of my TU sisters joining in on all the fun! Heather, I guess I had over looked your post the first time because as I was reading through all of these again tonight I was deeply touched by what you posted. I was deeply touched to know that I was one of those sisters in the outer circle and I am so glad that you made the choice you did.
Erin-- I am also glad that we were in the same class and that we got to experience what we did together. I know that we shared a few very memoriable moments my freshman year but what you shared with me upon my return has been by far the most memoriable of all moments. I will never forget how you trusted me so deeply.
Okay, see you both next weekend!
