Y'all know what? After watching so much of what is going on in NO, I am thankful that I have a car that needs gas and can be driven on dry land to and from my home that electricity, running water, and food in the refrigerator.

Word just came out that the gas stations are shutting down for the weekend because they don't want to run out of gas. The lines are around the block and prices are approaching $4.00/gallon!

Not to put salt on a wound...
...but the prices here in Columbus dropped from $3.09/gal to $2.99/gal. and save for the still high gas prices, the gas stations look normal. Maybe too normal in light of all I have been reading about.

3.29 in West Chester, PA. I drive everyday for my job. It's costing me a small fortune to gas up my car.

Yesterday gas was unleaded was $2.89. I passed two gas stations and drove 4 miles just to get .10 cents off per gallon with my Kroger Plus card. By the time I got there, all they had was premium. It was $3.11 with the Kroger Plus card $3.01. I drove across the street to the next station. Now I hear they are going to keep raising prices until everyone is at $5/ gallon, just so everyone can conserve the gas.

Hey all!
Well here in Philly, yesterday I paid $3.29 per gallon for regular for my little neon! The only thing that saves me is that the school in which I work (Special Ed. Teacher) is only about 5 minutes from my house, but I still have other places to go. I don't see an end in sight, but like someone else said, we are still blessed in that we are able to fill up our cars and drive.

The Exxon and Petro stations down the road from me are charging $3.29 per gallon. The Mom & Pop store just up the road is charging $2.79 per gallon - they have had lines at the station for the past 3 days. I'll be in line tomorrow.

My gas tank was on HALF and it took me 30 bucks to fill it to FULL.
Regular is going for 3.49
I think I better start looking into getting a Huffy or a Big Wheel this upcoming weekend
