Question

Hey,

I'm an alumni of a coed fraternity. Our chapter had a paddle party with our new membres the week before they were intitiated. The chapter provides the paddles and art supplies, and the new members decorate their paddles. And a lot of times actives bring in their paddles to 'touch up'. Afterwords, a lot of the members get signatures on the backs of them, too (I know I have a lot of them!).

It is always a lot of fun. It allows the new members to be creative and express themselves and what they like/enjoy/have pride in in the fraternity (because they put different things on there besides the letters.. symbols, the motto ,etc.).
