5. I was really in a three way tie with Zeta, Tri Delt, and ADPi, and I ended up only getting a bid from ADPi, but I'm glad I'm somewhere where the girls honestly wanted me and stuff, and I like that we are the first sorority!
6. Sisterhood and Socials for sure!

5. I met a girl from my hometown the first round and hit it off with everyone. The house is the most gorgeous on campus, and the sorority has become a major part of my life!
6. Santa Barbara Sorority volleyball tournament and driving to Arizona to help set up the new colony at U of A!

5. Why you joined ADPi
Because I knew from the moment I walked into their house on day one that I had found my "home." They were the most genuine and friendly girls, and you could easily see they had a strong bond of sisterhood. I will never forget my sister who preffed me, as we sat there on Pref Night I just knew that this was where I wanted to be.

6. Favorite ADPi memory
How about tripping and falling down during the initiation ritual!!! HAHAHA!! And then there was the chapter retreat out in middle of nowhere.... we kept joking about how we were in an ADPi version of "The Blair Witch Project." Laughing until I cried with my sisters, having a shoulder to cry on no matter what. Participating in my best friend's ring pass. This list could go on forever!

Two friends from my hometown rushed me and I thought I was got invited to preference because of them, until they explained that they were pledges and they couldn't vote and I had made it all on my own....as soon as I found that out, I realized I wanted ADPi and was so tickled that they wanted me.
6. So many, but I loved being able to go to convention my senior year...I remember standing next to a grey haired lady and we didn't know each other, were from different generations, but were both getting teary-eyed singing "I love the pin" at closing ceremonies. that really did it for me.

4. well I'm still new! I just went throught recruitment this past fall but I currently am NMC and Spirit Chair!

5. Since this was such a short time ago I could go into great detail but i'll keep it short. My first glance at the greek system was Greek BBQ which happens a week before recruitment, every sorority has a brag table and a few girls outside the union. I met two sororities that I fell in love with

ADPi being one of them. I went through recruitment and couldn't stop smiling after I got out of their parties however I was still really torn up between the two sororites. I talked to my Gamma Chi about it and she told me to "choose the one I could see myself in my PJs with" and I knew ADPi for me. Now that I'm a bit further removed from the situation I can't see myself anywhere else and I'm so happy with my choice!
6. Well I am very new still (we haven't even been initated because of campus policies!!!) but I would have to say my favorite memory was getting my Diamond Sister (I LOVE HER!). We did a reveal at Chapter Retreat and the NMC had "burried treasure" in the sand and inside the box was our diamond sister's name.

5. Why you joined ADPi

It literally happened by chance. I was not big into Greek Life I was convinced that with my school load I would have zero time but my dad a fellow greek and my brother and sister convinced me to try it...and then I cried during pref night I was so moved by the girls of ADPi but I was also attached to my second house of choice. My doubts with ADPi were if they really wanted ME or the legacy part of my whereas the other house I had no connection to except they liked my personality. Turns out subconciously I wanted ADPi because I filled out my bid card in pen and marked ADPi before I realized what I was doing. Best choice of my life!

6. Favorite ADPi memory

The final moment of our iniation, which I shared with my blood sister. There was not a dry eye in the room, I will forever remember the feeling of our bond growing deeper due to us sharing a diamond bond now also.

I would just like to mention how much I cherish all of my memories with ADPi and that for the rest of my life I will be connected to you all.

5. When I went through rush I knew when I walked into the room that Alpha Delta Pi was the sorority for me. All the young women in the chapter are so wonderful and diverse.
6. Wow. I'm only a freshman but my favorite memory so far would be performing in the step show. We didn't win but we showed them that the ladies of Alpha Delta Pi can put on a kickin show and be classy!

4. Nothing so far :[ but I am really looking to start an athletics/intramural chair, as we don't have one currently
5. I went through formal and things didn't go as planned, but I knew I still wanted to be Greek. ADPi emailed me about informal and I went over to the house several times and realized that it was a completely different feel than when I went through for formal, and that was when I fell in love
6. My favorite ADPi memory so far has got to be a tie between just hanging out with the girls, initiation, and little 500 quals! I imagine that the actual week of the race will top all of these though, and so many more memories are left to be made
