Pee Mail is basically a slang term for scent marking, normally with Urine. It is why there is generally a tree or something at a dog park that all the dogs sniff, it is basically an "I was here" and other scents that might indicate things (including that a dog is in heat), cats do it as well.
Humans are among the most scent-blind of mammals, though it is generally true for most of the great apes. it isn't as much that our noses have fewer scent receptors, it is mostly that we use very little of our brains for scent processing, instead with a *huge* area for 3d vision calculation.
Owls are even more scent blind than Humans, it is why Skunks are a favorite food of Great Horned owls.

My cat was a year and a half when I got her last month. What the hell is pee mail, CG? I’m assuming you mean pee as in urine? .

Thank you for having second thoughts about doing it. Have you set up a consultation yet?
What naraht said. Think of it as kitty social media. Like, the ability to post information and walking away. It enables cats to multitask. So, while their message is displayed in one location, they’re actually free to participate in other activities somewhere else, like finding food, a place to sleep, or finding a mate. It allows them to “post messages” over a large area while still being able to avoid predators or competitors.

Yep. But with humans, unfortunately that’s not the only area where we’re “blind”. To understand who we are as a species, we should first be looking at both the biological and cultural sides of our species. We don’t. Seeing that we know our history very well, yet, to repeat it shows we use very little of our brains with the only exception — calculations. But that’s another topic of discussion.

I kind of figured it was urine, but I was just checking to make sure.

Why should anything change?
Trump supporters down my road have long had, and still have, a "Happiness Is Four More Years" sign on their front lawn.
And the Harris supporters in the opposite direction changed their front lawn sign to one stating, "Don't Blame Me, I Voted For Democracy".
If I learn of anyone changing their mind about their 2024 voted choice for this nation's president, I'll let you know (but I'm not holding my breath).

You read my mind because I was SO thinking that.
But we really don’t look at the biological and cultural part of our existence. That’s what makes some humans so ignorant and stupid.

Ok. I hope you don’t, but if you do it, laser surgery is sometimes used in place of a scalpel. If your vet gives you the option, I think laser surgery is the better of the two evils. It’s more expensive, but it cauterizes at the same time.

I was helping my mom, who had surgery last week. When I went to her house to prepare for her to come home from the hospital…what do I find, except that one of the cats caught a mouse and put it in front of her favorite chair? Poor unlucky mouse picked the wrong house lol…but it made me think of this thread.
My cat wouldn’t know what to do with a mouse, but it must not be genetic since she has two of his siblings.
