I didn’t see this post. Thought you ignored or didn’t see my original question at first. What do you see now, currently, both morally and nationally? Basically, what have you read that you’re beginning to see or already have seen that matches?

Agreed. That’s my point. I get being scared to get pregnant, hell, I would be, too. But my issue is when somebody has a bad experience with one dude, or doesn’t like Trump, and then say all dudes are like that. That’s wrong on all levels.

Yep. So, one of my techs is going through this now. She was in a bad marriage with a guy who cheated on her and just overall wasn’t kind to her at all. But she stayed with him, knowing he was like this, because he was kind of like “out there”? before he met her. She’s been over him a long time now after their divorce, but she won’t date because she hates men. She thinks men are all the same, lol. She’s young and got married young. I think she was like 23 when she got married to him, and she’s not even 30 now, yet, she’s divorced.
I just told her that maybe she should have watched his patterns? She kind of got it but didn’t get it? I’ve always believed that men with that kind of behavior is precisely why banks check your credit (your track record). They know that what people have done in the past, they tend to do in the future. Yes, people do change, of course, but banks don’t invest in potential, they invest in patterns. And then, a bank is not going to loan money to a person who has proven unreliable, right? So, why should/would a woman give her life to a man whose pattern indicates the same? That’s what I don’t understand.
See, and this is why I believe when a man acts like a child, his behavior forces his significant other to act like his mother. And this interaction adversely affects their intimacy, and NO healthy man is sexually attracted to his mother. Just sayin…

I was in a bad relationship for nearly 10 years and then had the sense to get out of it when he wanted things to progress and me move in with him. He was a controlling dude, and would gaslight me (as I realized afterwards). Thankfully I didn't get pregnant so I was free and clear once it was done. It took me a while do want to date again, but I think for me it wasn't a feeling of all men are bad. What I did realize was my value and what I was and not willing to put up with. Also, I made a conscious choice to not waste my time on someone if I just didn't see a long term future, its not to fair to me or them for that matter.

The moral signs I see daily alone is the depravity, or godlessness being the root cause of this country’s moral decline. Folks tend to grasp for what feels good instead of what is good.
Also, during Biblical times from back in the day, every thought and intent of the heart was continuously evil back then. Now we have the technology to spread the same hate much faster. All this has led to the moral demise of western culture. We have become a profane people with fewer and fewer restraints on behavior, and also with a diminishing respect for human life.
I’d say in my parents lifetime to now, the divorce rate has doubled, the rates of teen suicide and violent crime have both tripled, and births out of wedlock have gotten so high, it’s literally surprising and rare to see children with both parents in the household. And sadly, men/fathers have gone AWOL. They’re around in the beginning for the sex, but have abandoned their positions as men and fathers. There’s no excuse for that, IMO. What a lot of men fail to grasp today is the fact that the most important thing a father can do for his children is to honor their mother. That’s pretty much gone.
Another thing too is with less than 5% of the world’s population, the United States has almost a quarter of the world’s prisoners (about the same number as Russia and China combined). What really gets me though is that we have become accustomed to homeless people sleeping in parks and under bridges, something virtually unknown in my childhood. I saw it, but not like I do now. Look at the leading causes of death. It’s usually self-inflicted, the side-effects of tobacco, obesity, alcohol, sexually transmitted diseases, drugs, and/or violence.
I don’t believe our culture here has yet sunk to the lows of the way they were back in the day, during Biblical times. But, I think our moral compass seems to no longer have a true north direction. It really has no direction at all, IMO. I almost feel like the needle spins willy nilly out of control, looking for a direction on which to settle. It’s gotten that bad, and it will get far worse.
Nationally is what I mentioned to you earlier, a few days ago.
