Lol!

The comment I mentioned to you when I was reading and laughing at old posts on here. You don’t remember? I’ll find it and post in the chit chatting thread.

There was a movie, Heathers, that came out in 1988, starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. In the movie, the most popular clique in the local high school consists of four girls, named Heather, Heather, Heather, and Veronica.

Thanks. Thanks for the wiki too. At first I thought it was a pre-Karen thing.

3.5 I was a jock, in the band, cheer, track and field and cross country, also a few clubs. We had around 350 people in my graduating class and I'd say 80% knew me and vice-versa.

Did you make your yearbook list?
Yes-sort of I got most athletic for our Sr. edition newspaper which has all that but I didn't graduate on time so for the graduation ceremony and such, no. I did get the honor trophy for my cross country team though

I vacillated between 3-4. My high school didn't do the superlative thing (there were about 600 in my graduating class), but I was always in the newspapers & yearbooks with quotes & photos. I will always regret one quote, as funny as it may have seemed at the time.

You don’t want to share the quote? I understand if you prefer not to.

The question I was asked was "what is anticipation?".

I answered: "When you go out with the guy you've been drooling over and discover that you can't stand him."

Shallow little 16 year old! I still hope that the guy I was thinking about never put two and two together. In my defense, he thought he was all that and a bag of chips. I just don't like to think of myself as hurting someone else.

That’s how it seems to be most of the time. The ones we had huge crushes on turned out to be ugly inside. Sounds like he was an ass anyway.

I was in category 3. Being a redhead with only two other redheads in my HS class of 500 I was well known. I also was a huge animal advocate and was often known for this. I was never shy and known for speaking my mind. I was in band but grew up with many of the cheerleaders. Basically, friends with everyone.
