Baylor had 8 chapters in 2018 and were running a quota of 85+9=94. Then Alpha Phi came on campus in 2019. They now have 9 chapters. It looks like they are pulling in about 112...and that's *with* the extra chapter.
I believe we are seeing an upswing on account of these young women having had to put many things on hold due to COVID. They couldn't participate in all of the traditional high school trappings such as prom, graduation, etc. Or their hopes for recruitment, college football tailgates etc, were dashed due to campus restrictions. With things clearing up just slightly, more students might be looking to grab on to whatever college experiences they can.
