Ruth Bader Ginsburg, AEPhi, passes away

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a.k.a. the notorious RBG, passed away today. Prayers to her family and AEPhi family.

I read that book as well...and my wife and I are just sick. We can’t even talk about it. I’ve been sitting in the dark listening to music and thinking. As an educator, I know how many young women she influenced...and will continue to influence.

DAMN 2020....And 3 more months to go...

I never knew she was an AEPhi! Just another thing that makes her that much more amazing and this day that much sadder.

If Biden is elected president, he has already said that he wants to put an African-American woman on the Supreme Court. Would be lovely if she were a member of the Devine 9.

(I was doing this with text by voice and it’s so cool that my computer capitalized the D in Devine by itself!)

The Chi Omega archivist posted a really nice tribute including a photo of the AEPhi badge and motto. But apparently a vast number of Chi Os have never heard of AEPhi and were confused.

Where did they post the tribute? I'd like to read it, if possible.

And what would they be confused about? That Chi Omega would write about a sorority member of another org? Did people openly ask, "What is Alpha Epsilon Phi?"

Google is everyone's friend

There are so many of us devastated by the news. What an amazing woman. There will be no one that can truly fill her shoes.

Without her work, a LOT of us ladies would not be able to do what we do. #ERA

Thank you Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
