Wow! I can understand how easy it would be to say this fraternity or that fraternity violated the health codes, but I'm trying to figure out how the sororities were "selected". If they were at a party with their letters, then why were they wearing their letters? The sororities are set up for 17 sisters on a floor - how can they say that this sorority is social distancing and that one isn't?

This is going to happen everywhere... and already is. At Penn State, a large group of students gathered outside the dorms and not much - if anything - happened to those who were there.

But when parties were hosted by fraternities...

Apples and oranges? Regardless, our organizations are going to be under much more scrutiny, especially with a large house to gather in and it being easier to punish ABC or DEF rather than individuals. However, sounds like Pitt is taking a much harsher stance than Penn State and is already issuing suspensions.

But you'll see from the Penn State articles that the fraternities are apparently violating state, university, and IFC rules. So... ::shrugs::

Because everyone in the dorms is doing all the social distancing things.
