The baby's name is Louis Arthur Charles.

That surprised me. Louis is a French name, which is surprising for a British Royal, even one who will hopefully never ascend to the throne.

Louis Mountbatten, Prince Charles' favorite uncle, so not surprising though probably not the expected choice. Louis is actually a somewhat common name in England.

I am! While I'm not an Anglophile, per se, aside from my love of David Bowie, I am definitely intrigued by the idea of power through bloodlines.
I only recently began reading up on Mary, Queen of Scots, and I'm trying to figure out a good way to incorporate her into my GED lessons.

I'm surprised that Philip wasn't one of the names. I figured that it would be a given, what with the Prince nearly 100 years old!

Perhaps for their fourth child? And maybe Philomena for a girl?

So, what are the odds of there being a Baby Cambridge #4? Any thoughts?

Considering how ill Catherine has been with each of her pregnancies, I'd be surprised if there is a fourth baby. She comes from a family of three, so I expected that they'd have three children though.

Actually, the Brits pronounce it Louie as well...not just the French.
