Bid Day is tomorrow at South Carolina! There were 1758 registered but I haven't heard how many have dropped out. I believe quota is projected to be above 100 (again), but no idea where it will land.

I really don’t wish for this at all. It’s a privacy concern for students (and depending how it’s implemented, a violation of FERPA) and even when things like this are made optional, people feel pressure to agree to them.

My take is if I’m not close enough to a PNM to be told where they went, I maybe shouldn’t spend time worrying about it.

as to publishing bid lists .. I recently heard one rational where the panhellenic said it stopped publishing bid lists because PNMs could search old bid lists and see where the recruitment councilors were members.

UCLA has stopped sending the lists to even Recruitment Advisors, saying it’s private information, though UCLA identifies their RCs. But UCLA is a PUBLIC university, so that doesn’t fly with me.
