ACK! It's almost Sunday - WHOOPS! I'm worried and I havent met my RoChi yet.... It's just nerves, even though I did spend my summer at UF still new dorm and such... EK! I have my meeting at 4 pm and then the real problems start!
*mk*
ps- i know i know comfy shoes, and I'm trying to work with the advice but GIRLS- I love shoes, and a good looking pair is hardly ever comfortable!

From one shoe addict to another...
Hopeful, I know just how you feel. I loooovvve shoes but out of all the pairs of shoes I plan to wear through rush, I think only one pair is actually really comfortable! I know I'll be cursing myself at the end of the night, but oh well, you only get this experience once right? (I do intend on slipping a band-aid or two in my purse though!)

hopefulgreek,
Yeah, I tend to harp on the comfy shoe thing. (Possibly because I'm a bit of a shoe fiend.) Maybe comfortable is a bit of a stretch...at least break 'em in a little. I just remember by the end of Rush having to go into Preference parties with my feet all wrapped up like little mummies (from all the blisters) and then stuffed into my black formal pumps, not a good look. Thank goodness all the rooms were dark.
Anyway, more important than comfortable shoes is an open attitude and a true excitement about gaining a sisterhood. You definitely exhibit both of these qualities so I'm sure you're going to do great.
Good luck. Let us in on all the developments.

Your mom and Aunt are Chi O's??? Pressure??? Don't you dare feel it! You pick that home, that sisterhood where you feel like you belong! You have got to be happy and you will feel it- trust me!
Would I love for you to choose Chi Omega = of course yes! But you have to find it for yourself.
Let me tell you - there are sooo many excellent sisterhoods out there- you can not go wrong!
We are rootin for ya! Good Luck!

I wish you all the best during your recruitment experience I know you're nervous about meeting your rho chi tomorrow and about everything else, but just relax and have fun... recruitment is definitely stressful at times (I've been through twice as a rushee, lol).. but just relax and remember to enjoy yourself and the houses you visit

Hopeful Greek, good luck with rush!! UF has a great Greek system. I just wrote a letter of rec for one of my friends here in Orlando. I can't wait to see how things end up for everyone!
