Dude, I just met PEYTON MANNING!!!

I'm a hostess for a restaurant, and I sat him and his wife...I was like "you look like Peyton Manning" and he was like "that's what they all say!" Then he winked at me!!! We all laughed and he asked what was good to eat...

He was so nice, and I was surprised at how skinny he was. Oh, and he's not as cute as I thought he was.

I've heard this rumor about them going to several different schools, including Allegheny College which is somewhat near Pittsburgh.

None of the rumors make sense, they could get into pretty much any school they wanted.

As far as i've found, i haven't seen their college plans confirmed anywhere on the net or in the news.

My sister has met Tim Mc Graw and his band a half dozen times. I 'm starting to think that she is stalking him.

I coulda sworn my manager said it was his wife, but he could have been wrong. It was a young lady with brown, shoulder length hair. Really pretty.

Peyton got married last summer to his longtime girlfriend, Ashley. A friend of a friend booked their reception in NO.

Oh yeah... the Shrine temple of the stars -- Al Malaikah Shrine in LA. (I'm just a nobody from Akdar Shrine in Tulsa, occasionally visit Hella in Dallas).

Something I never knew until I became a Shriner: the famous silent screen actor Harold Lloyd was also the Imperial Potentate of the Shrine in his later years.

The only famous person I've met is Frank Abagnale, who's life is the basis for "Catch Me if you Can". I am actually good friends with his son.

I have met Peyton Manning, Heath Shuler, and Tee Martin - because I went to UTK and saw them on campus.

Through work, I have met Emeril Lagasse, Alton Brown, Bobby Flay, Paula Deen, Sara Moulton, and Rachel Ray from Food Network - Carol Duvall and Michael Payne from HGTV, Richard Karn (Al from Home Improvement), Linda Cobb (the queen of clean), and Sandi Genovese (Scrapbooking shows).

I also met Richard Simmons...but he was more interested in flirting with my very straight and very married brother lol.

Well, next week is Derby and Chris (aka Kid from Kid N Play) called and I get to go to a bunch of celb things, I guess I will update everyone after next saturday (and my hangover) go away!

Oh- for Tim McGraw- I was stuck in traffic going from Western home one Friday and I saw three trucks with "Tim McGraw" in white on them,... i come up on a really nice Ford Truck with the window cracked, and there is Tim McGraw!!!! I laughed and waved, he waved back! He was in a baseball cap looking as aggravated as everyone on I-65 doing 10 mile an hour.

I went to school with Nappy Roots. The radio station at school that I worked on (i was program director) was the first to put them on air. They were always in our studio- super nice and always clowning!

Hmmm. Let's see:

Bob Hope.
Ronald Reagan
George H. W. Bush
Al Gore (I can be bipartisan sometimes)
Assorted Colorado Senators (Allard) and Reps
Several Shuttle Astronauts
Chuck Yeager!
"Captain Kirk" from Star Trek - can't remember his name!
Marilu Henner! (backstage with most of the cast of Chicago on Broadway, but can't remember the rest of the names - Marilu Henner at 50 still looks real GOOD)
John Tesh
Neil Diamond
The Cars (all of them!)
Oingo Boingo (pre concert in San Diego, eons ago!)

And a few atheletes who were really down to earth:
Claude Lemieux (standing in line for the men's room at Denver's Chophouse)
Alexi Gusarov (even gave me his hockey stick)
Uwe Krupp
Peter "the great" Forsberg
Patrick "I'll be back one more year (I hope)" Roy
Marc Crawford
Hector "Macho" Camacho

...and a few atheletes NOT down to earth:
John Elway (big jerk - he was drunk, but still)
Tony Jones (meeting him was like meeting the entire offensive line - a very big boy!)
Terrell Davis

And, the Denver Bronco's player that was deaf (played at Nebraska)...he was a real nice guy.

I love Alton Brown's and Rachael Ray's shows, especially Ray's $40 a Day. I adore, love and have a big ole crush on Bobby Flay. I do.

Just thought I'd share
