Ha! (To both.)

May God be with the Churchwide Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America as they meet this week and among other things elect a new Presiding Bishop.

I love any and all things that point to "they all shall be one". I don't know that the average person on the street appreciates the magnitude of Pope Francis and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople meeting in Jerusalem, but I'm sure those here do!

"The public display of fraternal love between the apostolic successors of the brothers St. Peter and St. Andrew has raised hope to new heights that full communion between East and West may be achieved before the Great Schism turns 1,000 years old in 2054."

Anglican Ordinariate

Big goings-on in the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter (Anglican Ordinariate) - our "headquarters" is open!

Covered under "News" - http://ordinariate.net/

Houston, Texas The Chancery of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter was blessed and dedicated on Sunday, February 1, with all the majesty and magnificence of the best of our Anglican patrimony and Catholic heritage.
With the prayers and presence of two Cardinals, an archbishop, two dozen priests and deacons, a festive choir, musicians, a contingent from the Knights of Columbus and a crowd of several hundred, the Chancery was liturgically and officially prepared for use as the headquarters for our growing mission within the Catholic Church in the United States and Canada.
