Phi Delta Theta:Texas Tech stripped of charter after pro-rape ‘No Means Yes

The international Phi Delta Theta fraternity took action this week to punish its Texas Tech chapter in response to reports that members had posted a pro-rape sign at a party last month.
Photos of a September party posted on the website TotalFratMove.com last month showed a sign which read, “No means yes, yes means anal.” The party reportedly included a “vagina sprinkler,” which was a cardboard cutout that sprayed water on partygoers. http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2014/10/t...sign-at-party/

I especially like that the remaining members of the chapter have to do 10,000 hours of community service for rape victims. Don't know how that will be enforced but I'd like to believe that the men volunteering will learn something from their time.

I'm kind of surprised they actually got shut down. I get the feeling that if it were up to Tech they wouldn't have gotten much more than a slap on the wrist and community service. I love Tech but they aren't always the most proactive when it comes to things like this, so good on the national fraternity for taking action.
