Someone really should fan fiction an ending for that thread. I still want answers, LOL!

There are enough writers on GreekChat to make a competition out of this!

Fascinating logical idea. Why not set up 3 anonymous impartial judges (from the current contributors) to judge said contest; but what should the grand prize be?

If you can some others, I am in. I love the original overly dramatic writing style!

My version of THE THING with Pink Sequined Hose
My own recruitment story would have been all kinds of boring, so I made up something better....complete with cheerleader twins, sequined pantyhose, and the thing.

Hope you like it!

OMG OMG OMG, I almost forgot. When we were on our cruise there was a lady dressed like a hooker who had on pink sequined fishnets!! She was rather large in size, and thought she was the bomb at the casino. She kept flirting (badly) with the dealer, doing something she called "glitter fingers" and wiggling her fingers around before she looked at her cards. I literally choked on my drink when I saw her walk up to our table. I kept telling my husband--SHE'S GOT ON PINK SEQUINED PANTYHOSE!!! LMAO

In the late 80s, it was (briefly) popular to wear embellished pantyhose with a short prom dress. But it was usually black hose with some sort of rhinestone pattern. NOT pink and NOT sequins!
I think I wore a cobalt-blue, short strapless dress, and my pantyhose were off-black with a row of tiny rhinestones up the back of the legs. I'm sure I wore a gaudy rhinestone necklace and earrings too.

I just read that recruitment story.
That was insane.
I can't stand the way she writes/talks, but I am sad there was no ending!!

Mine too. Billy's granddaughter arrived on Thursday afternoon to move back to Oxford for her sophomore year.
That means I've got a free pass whilst the family visits. I need to be careful. The Pink Sequin Panty Hose tale was like crack ...
