Post HUNTER COLLEGE PHI SIG

Hi my name is Carla,
I just transfered to Hunter College, I used to go to buff state, I am interested in greek life. I want to re-open, or re charter the phi sigma sigma alpha chapter. Is there anyone else interested in phi sigma sigma at hunter college? Also if anyone has any advice of going through this process, I know the alpha chapter hasn't been active in a long time.

Is the college open for expansion? That is where you would need to start. Have you read about NPC expansion on the NPC webpage?

Total lane swerve on the NPC front, but greek life is VERY hard to sustain at a commuter school in a large metro area, where greek life is not prevalent amongst student life. It could take a while to get back on campus, plus, I've never known CUNY to be exactly easy to work with regarding expansion.

Since all the NPC chapters at Hunter are dormant, you might want to check first
with the university student activities/affairs office to see if the university is even willing for NPC chapters to be re-chartered.

I would love more than anything to see my sorority reestablish our Alpha chapter (who wouldn't) but I trust that my org has the pulse on what's going on and if recolonizing the alpha chapter was/is ever possible the org will take the steps to do so.
