it is nice for those of us who have been around for awhile to have the opportunity to reflect upon and write about the decisions we made as young women but from a very different perspective. Hopefully that will also help those who are just starting the process!

That's good to know. The small number of chapters and low quota back in the day reminded me of all the bed rush threads. You just think of all the young women who didn't get an opportunity.

Some things have remained the same, namely "Dirty Rush". I'm wondering what the consequences are for those who do it. Looks like they are not consequential enough as it is still going on. We NEVER engaged in it and probably bent over backwards to not have even the appearance or saying anything that could be misconstrued.
I reported my incident to my Pledge Trainer who was also our Panhellenic rep. I don't know what if anything came from it. It certainly could come down to a matter of "She said, she said". Also false accusations.

I love it! I have to admit I had a sneaky suspicion the you are a Chi Omega! So glad you took the time to tell your story. I wish there were more elder statesmen on GreekChat.
