Definitely not a northern thing. It started as a huge trend at the southern schools first I believe

I have two, one for my college that I got from a homecoming order, and one for Alpha Phi that I got through the merchandise swap on Facebook.

I love them. I want more of them. They're so comfortable and useful for days when I'm feeling really fat/lazy.

This really makes me want to buy one………

Am I the only one who thinks these things are ugly?

Perhaps it's just the latest (oversized clothing) trend. This is something I definitely won't be buying.

Hardly. They're all over the place here.

This may actually be worse than the oversized tank top trend.

These look so cute, and have NEVER seen these before. What's on the front of the jersey?

Not sure about the state or university jerseys, but the sororities tend to have the coat of arms/crest over the left breast.

I love mine. It's very comfortable, lightweight enough that you won't suffocate in it but heavy enough to keep you warm when it's chilly. It's my go-to for road trips and theme parks now. I also ordered mine a tad smaller than the collegians did, and I think it looks a little more put together than the ENORMOUS shirts on these tiny girls.

I'm the same size and height as the girl in the pic Clemsongirl posted (thank you, Clemsongirl!), so I ordered a small. As someone who came of age in the eighties where spandex and tight jeans were the norm, I don't do "oversize" that well. But I think if I wear this jersey with skinny jeans or yoga capris, it will look cute.

And my former collegiate chapter in Maine (that I'm also an adviser for in addition to the chapter here in Philly) is putting in an spirit jersey order as well, so if the trend has extended all the way up there, it must be everywhere.

I have an Indiana one but it's WAY bigger than I thought it'd be. I look like I'm playing dress up!

They are really cute and I would consider wearing one at times. Hypo wanted one but I was broke at the time they were selling them. She's in the northeast so it can't just be a southern thing. I think hers would have had the crest on the front.

My bet is that you could customize an order for an NPHC chapter if you had a large group interested!

I love my Tri Delta spirit jersey, but my university bookstore also sold jerseys with just our university name and motto, and when I was involved in club sports, several teams got personalized orders for their sport team. They are so perfect for vacations

Send a message via AIM to DreamfulSpirit
Somethinggreek.com is selling them so you could get it made for practically any group. Only thing is that they start off at $75 and you have to order a minimum of 6, but the more you get, the cheaper they get.
