Ole Miss Student Carson Otter beaten in Austin after Ole Miss/ UT game.

Current update says that he has not passed away, but is in critical condition. Carson is a Sigma Nu at Ole Miss.

There is a lot of speculation that Carson was beaten by UT fans who were upset by the loss, but no proof. Hopefully there will be witnesses that got information on the car or video from a nearby business or traffic camera.

Oh my Gosh! Now I know what a cryptic FB text from some of our Collegians was about. I could tell someone was ill or had been in an accident, but it didn't reveal who or how severe.

The story has been updated to now say it was early Saturday morning (around 2 am) so that would have been before the game.
