Hi!
I'm an alum of this group and am happy to share some info about it. We are a local that has been around since 1991. We don't discuss reputations on this site, so I won't address that part of your question. Xi Delta is local, meaning our only chapter is on the UGA campus. Xi Delta is a small organization, but you get the benefits of Greek life while really getting to know everyone in the organization. The chapter does not have a house, so meetings and recruitment are held on campus. But oftentimes sisters will be roommates in the dorm or apartments off campus. Dues are very reasonable. Xi Delta does lots of the same activities as other Greeks, such as Homecoming, date nights, socials, semiformal, formal, sisterhood retreat, philanthropy activities. I would definitely encourage you to go to Recruitment this week, meet the sisters, and interact with the sorority. You will also meet alumnae and Founders at recruitment who are still actively involved with the organization. Xi Delta has a website if you would like a little more info:

I joined as a junior several years ago and had an awesome experience! It really was my home on campus.
