Question about Recruitment Wear?
Hi, I'm a PNM...
And there's only a week 'til my schools recruitment! (SO excited!!)
Anywho, I have a really cute casual-ish dress that I'm considering to wear for one of the recruitment days. Only thing is, it's one-sleeved. But it's not revealing at all, and it's not skin-tight. (It's one of those looser-fitting dresses.)
So what do you think? Is a bare shoulder too much?

One shoulders are on-trend right now, so I doubt you'll be the only person wearing one. I'd say do it with the caution of knowing yourself and what you look good in. As in: If you have that armpit overhang or anything of that nature, keep it real with yourself and wear something a little more flattering.

I don't think the bare shoulder is too much, but it really depends on the dress. You say that yours is looser fitting. If it's what I'm thinking in my head, just make sure that it's not too sexy. This isn't the club - it's recruitment.
I think something like this would be appropriate (for pref), for example:

Love this dress. Beautiful for pref!!
So true recruitment dressing is not club dressing. PNMs, you are dressing for women, not men. Classy and cute, NOT sexy.

Lane swerve for generational observation - had to laugh at myself when I read the "it's not the club - it's recruitment" because my first thought was "country club" and then I realize she meant "night club!" Oh my, times have changed!
