Being in a sorority has always been something I wanted to do. I will be a transfer student and will be going to a school that has sororities on campus. I have done my research and I have decided that I am interesting in becoming a member of Sigma Gamma Rho. Looking online and watching videos on You Tube, SGRho is a better fit for me. I have a 3.4 GPA and have done community service. I was a part of starting up a step team of my last college and high school. I was the choreographer for college. What I want to know is besides the grades and community service what gets you noticed and picked up?
If a chapter is having membership intake, then what gets noticed and picked up is your application when you apply. From there, you may be invited to an interview so the members can decide to extend an invitation for membership.

YES! attend events, get to know the girls, but dont be too eager in a "omg i wanna be you" type a way. Just make yourself known to them. The 1st impression is a lasting one!
