Alpha Phi Alpha Member gunned down after engagement party

The "depraved" murder of a Jersey City couple on their return form celebrating their engagement has mobilized county homicide detectives, city police officers and law enforcement outside the jurisdiction, officials said this morning.

"All available resources from the Jersey City Police Department and the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office are working on this case, and we are in contact with agencies outside Hudson County," said Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio of the murder of Michael Muchioki, 27 and Nia Haqq, 25, on Randolph Avenue Easter Sunday.

Prayers sent to the brothers of APhiA....My friend, Todd is from Jersey (crossed APhiA there), flew up from Atlanta for this matter. He was close friends and frat with Michael.

Sad to hear...never will I understand violence.
