You many not have meant to be snarky, but I can see how putting SOUTH in capital letters, with an added geography lesson, and following it with another correction post, came across as a bit condescending. Your last two posts speak for themselves.

IrishPipes works hard to maintain this extremely helpful thread. Generally, I PM her with additions or added info. I'd use that method for anything corrective.

Have a nice day.

I, and probably many of us, restrained ourselves from being snarky back because we figured Irishpipes could defend herself. But your posts DID require defending against. What you might have intended to say is not, in fact, what came across.
What I heard was "Irishpipes sucks at maintaining these lists and needs to be fired, putting me in there in her place." Because, you know, she gets paid the big bucks to do this.

Just remember that how you read things you type is not how others read them. Sometimes the better part of valor is to just apologize if you caused any offense even if you didn't mean to, especially when correcting a thread maintained for our benefit at great personal expense every year to irishpipes. She tries her best to get it right.

Lake, there's no point in maintaining a database if the data is inaccurate. I'm all about details so I appreciate the corrections. No worries

Gamma Phi Beta at Texas Christian University welcomed 66 new members today! I'm not sure what quota ended up being at this point.

Quota was 74

ETA - posted at the same time as you! A TCU active told me 74, but 65 sounds more accurate. I know AOII matched 52.

I heard 62 from two different folks... but not sure now if that's correct either.

74 sounds really high though... it would mean almost no drops from initial registration.
