UTK previous chapters

As of now there are 13 chapters at the University of Tennessee. I have a relative that used to attend UTK and she said while she was there there were 20.
Does anyone know what all the other chapters were and why they are no longer there?
Also would it be possible to restart a chapter?

Taken from irishpipe's thread. Bold indicates active, italics indicates dormant:

Chi Omega
Alpha Omicron Pi
Zeta Tau Alpha
Phi Mu
Alpha Delta Pi
Delta Delta Delta
Sigma Kappa
Kappa Delta
Delta Zeta
Delta Gamma

Alpha Epsilon Phi
Pi Beta Phi
Alpha Xi Delta
Alpha Gamma Delta

Alpha Chi Omega
Gamma Phi Beta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Kappa Alpha Theta

Chapters close for a number of reasons, I'm not sure anyone here can give you a specific answer on any of these chapters.

A campus would need to be open for expansion for there to be a possibility of a colonization/re-colonization.

ETA: FWIW, looks like there was only ever 18, unless of course there were locals as well!

When I was there, there were 15. AGD and AXiD closed due to low membership, I believe. There were some super sweet girls in both. When I went through rush, I had a rush crush on my AXiD rusher, but it was obvious that they were struggling with numbers, and I was super shallow at 18. I wish they could have held on until RFM. I think it could have saved them.
