Transferring this Spring

I am transferring to Mizzou this Spring semester. I will be transferring in as a sophomore/junior I am not really sure which since my bachelors is going to be in a completely different field than my associates. I am really wanting to join a fraternity. I was curious if you guys could tell me if there is anything I need to do before transferring up there to get acquainted with the fraternities. Or should I just wait until I get up there to begin associating with them. I have been doing some reading on the fraternities I am most interested in and from what I have gathered Mizzou does not necessarily have a Spring rush but most houses have an informal recruitment year round. If there are any Mizzou students on here who could clarify for me how it works in the Spring I would greatly appreciate it.
