That having been clarified is there a general or uniform method that sorors need to take in order to get their issues resolved? It seems that Spring 02 initiates have had the most problems. No message is posted on the website, phone messages and e-mails have not been returned so what should be done now so that sorors do not have to pay the late registration fee??
I am sure that the answers to those questions will be forthcoming from the national president, most likely via the website. She is very aware of and concerned about all of the problems and is working on them with the executive director for expedient and fair resolutions.

Some of us will also have to be prepared for the fact that not all of the problems are the result of the bad code. Even if accomodations are offered, there could be legitimate reasons why someone's registration did not go through. An example may be that in the case of some neophyte lines, all of the required paperwork for completing membership intake was not submitted by the chapter.

True.... I'm sure that as soon as a solution is determined that it will be posted on the national website.

The assistance that I gave was not anything through a "back door"... some folks had problems because of their browser (usually AOL).. others had credit cards that were denied... others had misspelled names in the records at HQ... and still others were Delta Dears.... and friends of OTHER Delta Dears that I had already heped....

All you had to do was ask... Most folks know my email address... (ASK DOGGY - he even sent me BIRTHDAY greetings last week!) I was available.... I even "manned" the conventionservices@deltasigmatheta.org email address for the first weekend following the opening of registration...

...but the sytem was not "down" frequently enough to use that as an excuse... it was even up PAST midnight on May 15th !
