I would advise you to talk to someone knowledgeable in the Greek Life office. I couldn't find any information on the URL you posted about fall recruitment, nor did I see NPC/Panhellenic mentioned. Maybe someone else here on Greekchat is more familiar with your campus...with a combination of local and NPC sororities, I'm not sure if the locals are following the same recruitment procedures.

OK, then I'd definitely recommend talking to your Greek Life office. They could give you a definitive answer.

So your grades aren't great, you're a junior, and you just want to rush one organization? Yeah... good luck with that.

Because if your grades were too low for groups that required a 2.5 last year, I can't imagine they're going to be high enough to impress groups that require a 3.0 this year, especially since you're an upperclassman. I hope I'm wrong. Good luck to you.

Well, if you don't care, why should anyone else care enough to bother to answer you?

Okay, I'm sorry but, it has to be said...If you can't maintain a 2.5 GPA at Bloomsburg University, then the LAST thing you need to do is worry about joining a sorority. I am trying to say this in the nicest way possible. Unless your major is something like a hard science or math then there is no reason you should be doing so poor at Bloomsburg. I say this as someone who grew up around that area. Stop worrying about Greek Life and start thinking about whether or not you will actually graduate and if you ever do graduate what you will do from there.

What am I talking about? So, then what is your major? A 3.0 isn't that impressive and if it wasn't enough to go through rush at Bloomsburg University--then you need to worry about school and not going Greek. What I'm talking about is that some schools aren't known for being so challenging. If you aren't in a particularly challenging program and you can't even make the minimum GPA to rush then you should be more concerned about your grades and school.

yes a 3.0 isnt that impressive. but the rate of my improvement is and its getting higher. and it is enough to go through rush. (you need a 2.5). academics are ALWAYS number 1 for me. i AM more concerned about my grades and school. thats why ive improved so much.
