What is a Macon Magnolia??

I don't know if I'm missing something, but I've never heard the term Macon Magnolia. Is it something to do with the founding Alpha chapter??

The Macon Magnolia name came about fairly recently. The Phi Mus and the Alpha Delta Pis were noticiing that we both feel a bond from being the first & second sororities. Since other GLOS have the Monmouth Duo, and the Farmhouse Four (Five?), we decided that we needed a nickname. One of the Phi Mus, Jacquelyn Eisner, came up with the name "Macon Magnolias" and I came up with the lavender color, as a combination of azure blue & Phi Mus's pink.

You can read more about it here.

PS, it's the Farmville Four, and no it's not five. Farmville because our founding college is in Farmville, VA; yes, like the Facebook game (good tip for remembering it if you ever need to). <3 Sorry for board-hopping, I too wanted to know what the term meant (spending way too much time on TFM lol) and I just had to mention that cuz I think it's kinda funny.

Actually, being a member of one of the Farmville Four, it's never the wrong time to correct incorrectness.

Well, it's not exactly correcting. honeychile said Farmhouse Four and parenthetically wondered if it is five. I'm willing to bet that seven years later, honeychile knows she was right to begin with.

It's not Farmhouse, it's Farmville. That's the part that was incorrect and that sigmadancer297 corrected.

LOL! I totally didn't even catch that. My brain saw "Farm" and filled in the rest. This is why I'm a lousy proofreader.

My bad.
