Talking Lavalier

Hey gentlemen!
Im Jenn, a Kappa Delta from Middle Tennesse State University (MTSU), and I was just browsing some forums, thought Id stop in and say hey to ya'll!
Im lavaliered to a wonderful Pike, Jeremy, from the Eta Tau chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha at Austin Peay State University (APSU). They are very laid back group of guys, wonderful to hang out with, and very nice to the ladies!
Just thought Id let you know that a Pike girlie and her guy and doing fine in Tennessee!

jenn have you ever heard of girls lavaliering their boyfriends? I wasn't sure if i could do that to mine, he isnt greek but i think he would love it! we have been dating for a year now and we will both graduate soon. What do u think?

The OP has not posted on GC in 6 years... this was posted back in 2003. I don't think I would wait for a reply!!

I cannot imagine a guy wearing a sorority lavaliere where I went to college (in the South) but that is only my personal experience.

My big and my little both lavaliered their boyfriends.

My big was dating a non-greek.

My little was dating a Greek. He gave her his lavalier at the same time.

That was in the early 90's at a smallish campus in the Midwest. It wasn't a big deal.

The feminist in me says there is absolutely no reason a girl shouldn't lavalier her boyfriend. I am, however, having a hard time thinking up a manly piece of jewelry.

My big and my little gave plain gold lavaliers on a guy's gold chain.

If you want something more manly, I've seen sterling silver dog tags with greek letters on them at a couple of websites.
